About Me

Holism is all about the big picture; it relates to the theory that absolutely nothing happens in a vacuum. When searching for approaches to an issue, holism puts the emphasis on the' whole' instead of the parts.

The English Oxford Dictionaries define holism:
The concept components of a whole are in intimate interconnection, so that they cannot exist independently of the complete, or perhaps can't be understood with no reference to the entire, which is hence seen as greater than the sum of its parts.

And when holism is all about health:
The treating anxiety Disorders of the complete individual, including the wastege of emotional and social elements, instead of just the symptoms of an illness.
An alternate way to consider holism is by utilizing the analogy of methods simultaneously manmade and natural (i.e. an ecosystem a health system, a family system, a solar system, etc.).

A system is a complex' whole' with an obvious boundary; there's an external part and an inside . The content within a method (for example: water, plants), and animals comprises of related, interdependent areas which immediately mirror the overall context, within which they occur, (for example: an ecosystem).
When the whole of something creates an end result over any of its components can accomplish, individually, we call that synergy, (for example: a thunderstorm, the music of an orchestra).
